The Hideaway Cafe - St Petersburg's Original Listening Room! 1756 Central Ave, St Petersburg, FL 727.644.7895

Thursday, Friday & Saturday - Listening Room Festival Concerts and Workshops!!!

Join us this Thursday, Friday and Saturday!

We would like to invite you to a special 3 day showcase of original music here at The Hideaway Cafe beginning this Thursday March 15th and continuing on through the weekend. Tampa Bay's first "Listening Room Festival", hosted by Fran Snyder, will kick off this Thursday night in place of our weekly "Living Room Live" original music writers' night. Doors at 6 PM - music to start at 8PM. (Living Room Live will continue as scheduled next week)

This is a one-of-a-kind event here at The Hideaway Cafe and we want to welcome you all to take part. Friday and Saturday "day", we will be holding several workshops with special guests covering a wide range of musician and singer-songwriter needs. Featured instructors include Vinx (Berkley College of Music) and Nashville singer-songwriter Suzahn Fiering. Workshops are limited to fifty registrants. Topics for workshops include Fan-Funding, From Musician to Artist, Touring Profitably, Finding Your Voice and, of course, House Concerts.

There is a schedule of events for both Friday and Saturdays workshops available here and tickets are still available for both the workshops and the evening concerts (details linked below). Hope to see you there!

The Hideaway would like to announce the hire of our new Chef, Nate Bohn. We're very excited to have Nate on board and look forward to him building up our menu. He's already put a spin on a few things and has added a couple of items to the menu. Welcome, Nate!

Special thanks to last week's performers, Stacey Earl, Mark Stuart, Pierce Pettis and Julie Gribble. What a treat it was sitting around the island strumming with Pierce Pettis. Dustin you would've loved that one - tried taking it in for us both. Thank you Mark and Stacey for a beautiful set - absolutely loved your music. And what a treat it was having Julie Gribble here Saturday. (Thanks to Pete Ghallager for setting this up). Julie's songs were stuck in my head all day Sunday... great voice - great songs... simply put.

One last reminder that this Thursdays "Living Room Live" has the night off and will resume next week at its regularly scheduled time.

Thank you artists for sharing your music with us and to you all for making the Hideaway your place for live, original music.

All for now...

Cheers! john
