The Hideaway Cafe had another great stretch of music the past couple of weeks... I would like to thank all of you who came out to support us and the incredible talent that's been walking through our doors. Thanks again to Ellis Paul last week... (what a show), The Ivey's (thanks for dropping in again guys - awesome), Dustin Overbeek and Bryan Elijah Smith this past Friday - another great bill here at The Hideaway, Glen Phillips and Vienna Teng yesterday for two wonderful (and packed) houses and to all our weekly singer songwriters who come out week after week to share their music with us... Thank you!

Mon, 03/08/2010 - 5:57pm: A Blog Update from John @ http://www.hideawaycafe.biz/

We had quite a week last week with Ellis Paul on Friday and The Iveys on Thursday. The Iveys, brother Arlen and sisters Jillian and Jessica, along with their full band made another stop at the Hideaway and played a couple of sets on Thursday night. Thanks to the whole band for making another visit - you're welcome back anytime. I'm so glad my kids got to hear what they've been listening to for months, live and in person... that was a treat.

Christian Hern update!

Hey guys, I heard from Christian yesterday (in a very groggy state) and am happy to report that the surgery was a big success. They are both recovering comfortably at the hospital and it looks like Christian will be released in a few days. He has a few weeks of recovery ahead but his incredible "gift" was well received. Keep them both in your prayers and thanks again from us all for your generous support.

All for now... Cheers! john
