10.18.13     In-the-Round

for Instruments of Change

Join us as we host a night of original music for Instruments of Change. This will be an "in the round" evening featuring 6 artists speaking about the inspiration behind each original song, and how music has positively shaped their lives. This show will also be streamed live online. Proceeds from ticket sales and online stream benefit Instruments of Change's music programs with at-risk youth in Hillsborough County Schools, the Boys and Girls Clubs, and instrument donations to kids whose parents can't afford them.

Doors open at 6 for dinner and drinks. Show starts at 8.  $12 in advance / $15 at the door

10.19.13     Donny Simmonds

Join us in welcoming Donny Simonds, "the Gulf a Mexico songwritin’ shrimp boat captain from Hudson" back to the Hideaway Cafe for a night of original music. Donny was invited by Pete Gallagher to be the featured artist a few weeks back as part of Living Room Live's Florida Folk Series.  We're happy to welcome him back for a special showcase event - this time with his full band!

Doors open at 6 for dinner and drinks. Show starts at 8. $5.

10.16.13     Blues Jam


TC Carr takes the stage this Wednesday to lead this week's Blues Jam.  Doors open at 5 for dinner and happy hour (5-7). Music goes from 7-10. So invite some friends and head on out to see what's been happening on Wednesdays at the Hideaway Cafe! There is no ticket charge.   So come on out and share in some mid-week cheer with us.

It's Jack Kerouac Week!

This week we welcome National Americana artist and well known Tampa Bay tunesmith Ronny Elliott’s personal musical tribute to Jack Kerouac. The Brad Morewood Beat Poets will join in throughout the night for a slate of readings from Kerouac's most beloved novels. Also on hand, the Florida Boys performing Jack’s favorite bluegrass songs! .  As always, this is a free night.  Doors @ 5 for dinner and drinks.  Music @ 7.
