Seems like every time I go to the Hideaway, somebody wanders in and knocks one out of the park. Last night it was the Iveys.....an extremely talented group of young musicians/songwriters who are really nice to boot.

I love to hear young people who write and play music that appeals to ears that are adjacent to grey hair. Maybe the major labels and radio stations will wake up one day and start pushing real music again.

I am really enjoying the Hideaway Songwriters' Night. Lots of talented people in a very friendly welcoming environment, with a terrific sound system and a sound man who pays attention!

Thanks to John and Nicole - will definitely be back.
