We're stepping into another big week here at The Hideaway Cafe. Tuesday kicked the week off with our Living Room Live Jam. We're starting the music at 8:00 PM from now on so please get here early enough to get on the list. Doors at 6:00 PM.

Tonight marks our 6th week of the Songwriter Showdown. We've had a great start to this and hope you'll continue to support it. We need YOU songwriters to play along though. If you're interested in submitting, don't wait another minute. It seems our audience is interested but we can't provide unless you submit your song today! If you've got a song, show up tonight and add your name to the list....we're going FREESTYLE!

I want to thank Glen Phillips and Ellis Paul for another wonderful weekend. This is the second visit to the Hideaway for each and we hope there will be many more to come! Thanks also to Dustin Overbeek for making the trek from Nashville! We had quite a stage full of talent...

We have a great weekend lined up starting with Mean Mary from Nashville with The Wholetones from Sarasota this Friday. I'm telling ya... you don't want to miss this. Big fun... rootsy, bluegrassy, Americana... you name it, they've got it. Doors at 6:00 PM music at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $10(+tax).

Closing out the weekend, we bring you local songwriting craftsman, AJ Swearingen. A.J.'s made a great name for himself all over the country with his duo, the Simon & Garfunkel Retrospective. He's penned 5 records to date and will be playing two sets of his own this Saturday night. Doors at 6:00 PM - music at 8:30 PM. Tickets are just $5. Don't miss this great talent.

Once again, thanks to all for participating in one way or another last Sunday at our fundraiser for St. Petersburg's fallen officers, Tom Baitinger and Jeffrey Yaslowitz. Our prayers are still with both families and fellow officers.
