Garrick Aden-Buie

Soulful, energetic, playful and honest, Garrick Aden-Buie plays guitar and sings original songs that speak to the heart. Barefoot and smiling, his live performances -- filled with the energy of five people concentrated in one -- are a balancing act of spinning musical plates as he manages an array of effects pedals to record and loop guitar, vocals, bass and beat-boxed drums, filling the sonic space with the dance-inducing groove of an entire band.

Born in Atlanta, but raised on his parent's classic rock record collection in Eastern Pennsylvania, Garrick has lived in several countries and served in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. Recently, he relocated from the suburbs of Chicago to the Tampa Bay area, bringing his easy-going energy to sunnier climes, where he has received highly positive reviews from local audiences.
