Jason Mendelson

Jason Mendelson, formerly of "It Rhymes With Orange", is a progressive, adult-alternative rock songwriter from Tampa, Florida. Jason's 2008 debut album is available on CD Baby and iTunes. His second full-length album, "Shine," is a progressive rock concept album released Summer 2010.

Jason draws his influence from bands like The Byrds, The Allman Bros. Band and R.E.M., and is often compared to They Might be Giants, Pink Floyd, and the Decemberists. The most noticeable and unique elements of his sound is the classic jangle of electric 12-string guitars, the thundering foundation of bass pedals, dueling lead vocals, and clever pop sensibility.
