It Rhymes With Orange

It Rhymes With Orange is a progressive, adult-alternative rock band from Tampa, Florida. The band's 2008 self-titled, self-released debut album is available on CD Baby and iTunes. Their second full-length album, "Shine," is a progressive rock concept album scheduled to be available Summer 2010. An accompanying "Shine" film project is also planned.

IRWO is influenced by bands like The Byrds, The Allman Bros. Band and R.E.M., and are often compared to They Might be Giants, Pink Floyd, and the Decemberists. The most noticeable and unique elements of their sound are the classic jangle of electric 12-string guitars, the thundering foundation of bass pedals, dueling lead vocals, and clever pop sensibility.

IRWO has performed at Yeoman's Road (Davis Island), La Casa Dolce (Hyde Park), The Wooden Door (South Tampa), The Uptown Bar (St. Petersburg), and the Filling Station (Dunedin)
