The band`s previous name was Joe Taino and the Blue Flames,concentrating more in blues.This days the new format The Joe Taino Group is a mix of blues,r&b;latin jazz;reggae and calipso and classic rock. Each member has been in the music business for over 30 years and had performed with hundreds of famous artist.Also as a band and individually each member, had toured the whole world.As "The Blue Flames",the band toured Europe,Japan,US and South America for many years. Joe has been recording and performing since 1972.Some of the major artist that Joe shared stages with include:Peter Framton,Judast Priest;Rick Derringer;Cindy Lauper;Gregg Allman;Carlos Santana;Jaco Pastorious;Johnny Winter;Robin Trower;Pat Travers;King Crimsom and many more.Joe is one of the hottest and most respected guitarist in the NYC tri-state area and still performing every week.His newest release "Incognito" is a mix of all of his influences in a latin jazz flavor.Check it out.....
