Maggie Council has shared stages with nationally and internationally known artists like:
Acoustic Alchemy, Joan Armatrading, the Band, Guy Clark, Steve Earle, Steve Forbert, John Hiatt, Hot Tuna (Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen), Robert Earl Keene, Jr., Rene Marie, Ronnie Milsap, Maura O'Connell, Michelle Shocked, Chris Smither, Al Stewart, the subdudes, Eric Taylor, Townes van Zandt, John Wesley, and Warren Zevon.
At various points of consciousness during her career, she's played with James Peterson, James Tokely, Cold Joon and The Bob Snyder Big Band Show. Maggie has been roped into studio work for projects as diverse as heavy metal, avant pop, smooth R&B and Italian disco.
She played with her band, Maggie y los Basureros de Ybor (Maggie and the Trashmen of Ybor) - Ray Villadonga (bass), George Harris (guitar) and Danny DiPietra (drums) - more or less intact through the 90's.
Maggie created the Estrofest series of concerts featuring female singer songwriters in Tampa and Miami, and has co-created workshops for underserved youth on the business of music. She occasionally coaches Rock School at the Patel Conservatory for the Performing Arts.
