December continued....at the Hideaway Cafe

Jaden South...returning Friday, December 11th! Joe Genuardi CD Release Party Saturday, December 12th!

Hey folks.... we have a lot going on the next two weeks. First, Nashville's own, Jaden South will be returning this Friday, December 11th with local favorite, Jayne Kelli for another wonderful night of original music. We enjoyed them so much the first time around back in September and can't wait to see them here again. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here or at the door the night of the event. Doors open at 6:00 PM, Jayne goes on at 7:30PM and Jaden South at 8:30 PM.


The following night, this Saturday, Dec. 12th we welcome Orlando/Tampa based singer songwriter, Mr. Joe Genuardi as he celebrates the release of his latest CD, "Last Round". Tickets for this show are also $10 and can be purchased here or at the door. As it goes for most of our showcases. Doors open at 6:00 PM and music begins at 7:30PM.


On a sad note, I just received an e-mail form our friend Rick Olsen that Jack Rose suffered a heart attack and passed away this past Saturday... he was 38. He had just finished a tour on which he stopped by the Hideaway back in September. Please remember Jack in your prayers... I didn't get to really speak with him while he was here but he certainly left an impression. He was quite a player and came across as a very gentle fella. He seemed to be as happy playing for 40 people as he would have for one. And what a unique style of guitar playing. Per Ricks request, I shall raise up a fine beer and propose a toast to the life of this gentle and very talented "young" man. Jack, here's to you! Rest in Peace!


Finally, I'd like to extend a great big thank you to my good friend, Pete Merrigan for this past Friday. What a great night. Thanks to TC Carr and Vinney Seplesky as well - you guys are the real deal! I hope you'll always stop in when you're in town, Pete....


We hope to see you here this week for our weekly events Tuesday and Thursday or for this weekend's showcases. And next week finds the stage filled nearly every night....Wednesday with Jack Williams, Friday with Icarus Account and I Anthem and Saturday with the Sarah Mac Band.
