From the Broadway musicals of New York to the honky tonks of West Texas, their music has been dubbed "Fusion Folk Americana" - a blend of many different elements that comes from their vast and wide-ranging musical backgrounds.

Laurie Jennings Oudin is well-known as the former proprietress of The Main Street Cafe, which was viewed across the country as the premier acoustic music venue in Florida. A former Shakespearean actress, Laurie has been a singer and songwriter for many years. Since the cafe's close in June 2006, she has been devoting her time to her musical career with Dana.

Dana Keller is a veteran pedal steel, dobro, and guitar player who has spent years performing on stage or in the studio with such luminaries as Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Stevie Wonder, Larry Graham, Marvin Gaye, Dave Mason, Johnny Rodriguez and The Allen Brothers, to name a few. He has opened for, among others, Spirit, Pure Prairie League, Gordon Lightfoot, Waylon Jennings, and Buck Owens. Dana has been an endorsee of the Gretsch Guitar and Drum Company since 1980. Saturday we welcome back Michael J Weiss. He will be performing as a trio for the first time at the Hideaway so don't miss it! Joining him will be Michael J (michaeljmusic.com) and special guest drummer/percussionist Jeff Rubin. Michael's music is wide ranging and a good time from start to finish. He is a Florida-based solo musician whose music has most clearly been described as beachy/relaxing/lyrical/comedy-based folk/rock/country crossed with a hell of a good time. Michael is best known for his live performances, which feature an extensive original song collection that spans nearly every genre. His unique ability to adapt to any musical environment and interactive entertaining style make him an instant crowd favorite. Doors at 6PM music starts at 8PM. $5.

Sunday we welcome back Matt Butcher with special guest Lauris Vidal. Matt is well on his way and we're happy to have him visiting us now from his new home in Nashville! Doors at 4. Music at 5. Tickets $12.

"Living Room Live" Tuesday and Thursday resume as usual this week. Doors and sign up begin at 6PM and music starts at 8PM. We've had some incredible artists come through lately, so please come down, grab a beer and support them... you won't be disappointed.

I'd like to thank last week's performers... Garrick Aiden-Buie with Jarrod Simpson Friday and Gove Scrivenor with special appearances by Richard Gillewitz and Merv Shiner Saturday (Merv is the original artist/singer on the famous 1950 hit - Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail). Merv got up and performed the tune and three others to a standing ovation... he turns 91 later this year.
