The Hideaway Cafe - Where MUSIC is the only thing on our MENU! 1756 Central Ave, St Petersburg, FL 727.644.7895

Kort McCumber this Saturday!

We have a big show this Saturday with Kort McCumber out of Colorado. I'm not quite sure how Kort found the Hideaway but I'm glad he did. I love his music and think you will too.

The Colorado-by-way-of-Florida based singer/songwriter has, for years, been turning out bluegrass tinged Americana, but with his latest album, Aint the Same as Before, McCumber takes a hard left from the style of his last few albums toward a more rock and blues-fueled one. You really won't want to miss this one.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here or at the door the night of the event.

We hope to see you this week on Tuesday or Thursday for a taste of St. Pete's finest singer songwriters and musicians. And don't forget to check out The Woodshed band. They will be performing again December 2nd and every FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month. Check them out and lets help build a home for jazz here at the Hideaway Cafe.

Lastly, since Thanksgiving falls on our "Living Room Live" , we will be closing for the night but opening Friday the 27th with the John Kelly Band playing a short set with friends Joe Milligan, Jay Keirnan and Douglas Lichterman.

Check out John's music:

I welcome all you singer songwriters to come and play some as well. (this is a free event)

We are thankful for all that we have this holiday season. For those less fortunate, the Hideaway will be accepting canned good donations at the door.

Heres to this Holiday Season... we hope you have a great one!!!

All for now, Cheers!

Can't get enought of these CDs... thanks Kort!

What a great night!

Kort was amazing....the talent just keeps finding its way to the Hideaway stage.....humbling us and making us ask ourselves "who are we to be so lucky to be in such an intimate setting with such incredible artists?" Kort and Amy, I hope you do come back sooner than "the same time next year". Door's open! I am really enjoying all of the CDs....it's a rare occasion when the CD is as good as the live appearance and I'm glad I get to continue listening 'til next time!
