Martha's Trouble this Saturday, September 4th! Honkabilly Blues and The Kirk Adams Band next week!

Don't miss a great show this Saturday, September 4th with Martha's Trouble. The husband-wife duo first hit the Houston music scene in 1994 and has been gaining momentum ever since, touring Canada and the southeastern U.S. With seven albums, an inspiring list of awards (including Americana Album of the Year at the 2005 Just Plain Folks Awards), sales to Hollywood, and an evolving sound, this duo carries a sizeable and ever-increasing fan club. Doors open at 6:00 PM and music starts at 8:00 PM. Will call tickets are $10+tax and can be purchased here and at the door the night of the event.

September 10th we welcome back Honkabilly Blues. These guys first appeared for Hideaway Cafe's first wedding and lets just say.... we had ourselves a little party here. Loads of fun... old swinging country and honky tonk with a little blues....very nice! The lovely Jayne Kelli will open the show. Come join us. Music starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $7+tax - buy yours today!

The very next day, September 11th, The Hideaway celebrates its new space and kitchen with the fabulous, Kirk Adams Band. Kirk is something.... and his band kicks %$#@! A little blues, a little country pickin... you name it, they do it.

Our menu will be starting off small with pizzas and salads in an attempt to really get it right. We will be adding items over time but our first priority is the music. (We just want you stay here when you get a little hungry)!

We're also taking this opportunity to throw Janye Kelli a little farewell party. Jayne's been a big part of our lives over the past few years and means the world to us. We're very excited for her and Michael as they start on a new journey, but we want them to know just how special they are and how much we all will miss them. She'll play a set somewhere in the middle of it all and this will more than likely be her last in the area for a while. Please come and give her a great big hug and let's party with The Kirk Adams Band. This will be a FREE event (with some house specials).

All for now! Cheers! john
