We invite all singer/songwriters to join us for this Thursday's open mic night, a.k.a. Living Room Live. Named Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay 2014 for "Best Open Mic Night", the Hideaway Cafe has opened up its doors and its stage for the past 7 years to countless rising talents as well as seasoned veterans who have made a career of music.

September 28, 2016 - Betty Fox Band

Our weekly Blues Jam is hosted by 2 Bay Area gems - every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, you can find TC Carr sharing the stage with his Bolts of Blue Band and every 2nd and 4th, the Betty Fox Band, just named the 2014 Best of the Bay's "Best Local Blues Band" brings the blues and invites other well revered local players up to join in on the jam. If a 5th Wednesday is on the calendar, then you get something really special - a blend of TC Carr's Bolts of Blue Band & Betty Fox's Band.

The Brian Caudill Band consists of Marc Dupuy on drums, Brandon Freitag on bass, Dave Hardy on piano and organ, and Brian Caudill on guitar and vocals. The original music created by this four piece band takes you on a lyrical journey, with smooth yet powerful vocals, strong bass, piano, and organ rhythms and a solid percussive foundation. The band has a diverse mix of sound with melodies ranging from indie stylings to traditional rock. The group enjoys a loyal fan base and attracts new listeners with every live performance.
