Preston Beebe

Preston Beebe recently graduated from the University of South Florida (Tampa) with a triple BM degree in Percussion Performance, Music Composition, and Electronic Music. He is an active performer in diverse musical styles in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. Some notable groups Preston has performed with include The McCormick Percussion Group, The Florida Orchestra, The Helios Jazz Orchestra, O Som Do Jazz, When Tides Collide, Philip Pietri & the Manatees, as well as various broadway musicals such as “Chicago” and “13“. Preston’s music has been featured on the local radio station WMNF 88.5 multiple times. Preston has performed with major artists such as Kevin Mahogany, Sue Terry, and John Graham. He can be heard performing with the McCormick Percussion Group, “Music For Mallet Percussions” Distributed through Naxos. Preston leads an electro/acoustic jazz ensemble and also performs as a solo artist. Preston is a member of SCI (Society of Composers), SEAMUS (Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States), and PAS (Percussive Arts Society).
